What does Scotch and The Fox mean to you?
It’s a place where there’s no need to censor yourself, you’re able to express yourself completely. It celebrates women for who they are and reassures us that whoever that is as of now, is enough.
Describe yourself in 5 words or less:
Headstrong, loyal, open, impulsive, nomad
What's playing in your car/iPod right now?
These are playing on my laptop: A Very She & Him Christmas, Ben Howard, The Smiths and a Mike Birbiglia podcast (because apparently laughter reduces eczema)
Tell us about the last dream you remember having.
I have a terrible memory and normally don’t dream much. But when I do, it’s usually when I’m stressed so they’re weird and abstract. They might consist of a mash-up with: the boy I’m crushing on, being locked out of my house with a mountain of cupcakes and a dress making competition that’s in full swing.
If you were a nail polish, what would your name be?
How have you grown as a woman in the past 5 years?
I’m not as apologetic about my decisions anymore and don’t take on anyone else’s guilt as much as I used too. I’m a lot more gentler with myself too, which is a great feeling, you know? Like I can pamper myself/eat cake/nap without any guilt even if my day hasn’t been productive, just because I can.
You're throwing your dream dinner party. 6 people dead or alive can come. Who's on the list?
Stieg Larsson, Mae Whitman, Billy Collins, Dr. Seuss, Audrey Hepburn and Chan Marshall (Cat Power)
What's your go-to outfit?
Skinny jeans and a well-worn shirt with a cardigan of some sort. I’m always cold, even in the shopping mall.
You're president for a day. What's the first issue you tackle?
What's on your pizza?
Bacon, pineapple, mushrooms, red onions and plenty of cheese
Why is a mulled wine your drink of choice?
It’s warm, spicy and sweet. Three things I appreciate in food and people. It shouldn’t be shelved as a ‘festive’ drink, it’s too comforting for that category.
What's your favorite thing about the Blue Mountains, Sydney
The views, the scenic beauty that never fails to impress.
