Ellen McDonough is an undergrad student at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design, with a strong passion for public interest design. You can often find her dancing, even when no one else is. A cookie monster and Jucy Lucy murderer, she is a wide-eyed, free-spirit, who can never find her keys.

The most beautiful part of Scotch & The Fox to me is this exchange it makes possible between women- those thoughts we keep to ourselves out of fear- can be put out in the open and reinforce how much we really have in common.

What's playing in your car/iPod right now?
Tell us about the last dream you remember having.
My family had moved homes, new place was awful. no yard, etc. The whole dream was me seeing the new place for the first time.

How have you grown as a woman in the past 5 years?
Five years ago I was 19 years old just going through the motions with no clear direction in life. Today after various different "character building" experiences, I have found who I am and finally pursuing what I am really passionate about, and what really matters to me.
You're throwing your dream dinner party. 6 people dead or alive can come. Who's on the list?
My nana, Kristin Wiig, Nelson Mandela, Charlie Hunman, my Uncle Rick, and Jerry Allan [my advisor]
What's your go-to outfit?
Jeans and a t-shirt- casual most of the time but I love to dress up every now and then.
You're president for a day. What's the first issue you tackle?
What's on your pizza?
Pepperoni and ketchup [I know, gross]
Why is red wine your drink of choice?
Honestly, I don't handle hard alcohol well, as many of my friends can vouch for.
What's your favorite thing about MPLS?
The people I have met throughout my life here and in turn, all the people I have met through them [like Megan]
