Taylor is a MN girl who just happens to live and work in Washington, DC. She likes to do yoga, dance to Prince and save the world one Congressional district at a time. She drinks whiskey and ginger ale when she’s feeling naughty, and PBR when she’s feeling cheap. If you feel like hanging out with her, follow her @tayobrien or read more about being young, whimsical, passionate and sleepy at Wander and Whimsy.
What does Scotch & The Fox mean to you?
Scotch & The Fox reminds me of home, even when I'm across the country. Creative, interesting, adventurous women expressing themselves. Oh, and Minnesota :)

Sassy, Driven, Intelligent, Whimsical, Sleepy
What's playing in your car/iPod right now?
My friend Valerie June's amazing album "Working Woman Blues," and NSYNC's Greatest Hits. Obviously.
Tell us about the last dream you remember having.
I usually don't remember my dreams but it is probably safe to say Harry Styles was there.
If you were a nail polish, what would your name be?
Revlon Cherries in the Snow. It is always on my fingers and toes, regardless of season.
How have you grown as a woman in the past 5 years?
I trust myself more now than I ever have before, and that has been a huge journey. Still working on it.
You're throwing your dream dinner party. 6 people dead or alive can come. Who's on the list?
Hillary Clinton, Dolly Parton, Robert Kennedy, Jack White, Jimmy Fallon, Gloria Steinem.
What's your go-to outfit?
Skinny jeans, riding boots, flowy top, lots and lots of mismatched jewelry. And probably a cardigan.
You're president for a day. What's the first issue you tackle?
Women's access to contraception and safe abortions. Our ability to control when and how we have children is no longer up for debate. Please get out of my cooch, thank you very much.

Pineapples and pesto.
Why is Whiskey and Gingerale your drink of choice?
Whiskey and Gingerale when I'm feeling scandalous. Champagne every other day of the week.
What's your favorite thing about MPLS?
There are so many things, but I love that it is home first and foremost. Minneapolis is a hug version of a city for me, and who doesn’t love a good hug?
